Intrinsic Ligaments of the GH joint

A

Three fibrous bands found on the internal aspect of the capsule.
Superior band- provides most stability arms rests at side.
Middle band- taut in 45-90 degrees of abduction
Inferior band- taut at 90 degrees of abduction. Anterior part limits ER, Posterior part limits IR.
