Notes about gustar
Agrees with the object talking about, not the person
Put in ‘me’ as in it pleases me, they please you – would put in ‘te’
so it pleases me, they please me, it pleases you, they please you etc.

If you don’t like something
If negative, use negative before pronoun e.g. no me gustan

Important to remember
NEW = LE and LES
Verbs and like e.g. I like to dance
No matter how many verbs have, has to be singular gusta – and always infinitive
Never conjugate second verb or any verb after gustar – always infinitive
For people e.g. Sarah
Always need to say A – A Sarah le gusta echuchar musica disco

encantar used for
encantar = something your really, really like/love
What can you not say
Can NEVER say Yo me gusta – instead say A mí
