GP Triage (category 1/2/3)
A
1.
Chest pain, difficulty breathing, trouble talking, facial swelling, collapse, ACS, extensive burns
Call 000, nurse/doctor
- bleeding heavily, spinal or head injury, snake bite, labour, ACS
Go to emergency department - Unable to urinate, floppy infant, poisoning or overdose, severe pain
Call nurse or doctor

GP TRIAGE (category 4/5/6)
A
- Fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, pregnancy pain, abuse or assault, visual disturbance, psychological distress
Go to surgery, advise nurse and doctor - Unwell child, rash, cut or laceration, flu
Come to surgery and call back if it gets worse - Adult with fever, post op problems, eye or ear infections, pain
Make an appointment within 24 hours and call back if it gets worse
