Project Tiger
rganized into three concentric circles. At the centre is the core
area; surrounding it are the buffer zone and the periphery. In the core area, wildlife is to
be given complete protection. In the buffer area commercial forestry operations, modified
to meet the requirements of wildfied conservation are permitted. The periphery is the
transition zone between the reserve and the outside.
