all children should receive a full series of DTap shots, then they will need Tdap boosters between 11-18 years old then every 10 years thereafter

moderate to severe febrile illness, previous anaphylaxis or encephalopathy after Tdap immunization
What are true contraindications for the varicella vaccine?
pregnancy, certain cancers (leukemia, lymphoma), hypersensitivity to neomycin or gelatin, those who are immunocompromised (HIV, congenital immunodeficiency, immunosuppressive drugs)
What are true contraindications for the HBV vaccine?
anaphylactic reaction to HepB vaccine or baker’s yeast (this is one of the safest vaccines)
