Intelleigence and ability can’t be changed; focus is given to performance and outcomes.
What is a growth mindset?
Intelligence and ability can be improved; focus tends to be in improvement process.
Where did the two mindsets originate?
In the education space with primary, secondary and tertiary students.
What new settings have adapted the theory of fixed and growth mindsets?
Alternate settings such as sports, performance; the corporate world, music, health, creative pursuits etc.
What are the characteristics referred to in both a fixed and growth mindset?
Beliefs, focus and process of improvement
