nation
a political unit which has sovereignty over a particular piece of land
state
a type of state that conjoins the political entity of a state to the cultural entity of a nation, from which it aims to derive its political legitimacy to rule and potentially its status as a sovereign state if one accepts the declarative theory of statehood as opposed to the constitutive theory
nation state
generally recognized as the fading or complete disappearance of economic, social and cultural borders between nation-states
globalization
The State has four elements:
population, territory, government, and sovereignty
a process of interaction and integration among the people, companies, and governments of different nations, a process driven by international trade and investment and aided by information technology.
globalization
defined as a large group of people who are linked by a similar culture, language, and history
nation
the authority of a state to govern itself or another state
sovereignty
