What is Chief Information Security Officer?
The role is more popular with bigger organisations as will go under different names for example Global Head of IT / Information Security or also Chief Information Officer. This is a high level management position and the roles include to look after the security equipment, The staff and also the security control that are in place, generally this is the person who will be jailed or fine if a breach occurs.
What is a Information Security Architect?
This role is can be also known as Information Security Director, There. is two different roles for this job title.
The first role is the information security director which is responsibility of this job title is generally the person who directs the organisation wide security technologies. The role of architect is the head of a security design team and they are responsible for the security in a new network build.
What is a Privacy Officer?
This role is also known as Data Protection Officer and is a role that NESCOL has aswell but the person responsible for this is also responsible for other roles aswell.
The job of privacy officer is to ensure that there is sufficent policies in place to ensure that data is secure and that the only people who are authorized have access to the data and also what level of authorisation they have.
What is a Information Security Analyst?
This role is seen as a internal auditor and the security analyst will conduct information security awarness assessments in the organisation.
They can interview current employees to find about the security policies and then evaluate them and then report them to management and this is usually a management role and less of a technical role.
