P.S. always found in unstressed syllables—>a weak vowel
-not the only vowel found in weak syllables [ı] is also found there.

What are the four parameters regarding the quality of a vowel?
- Tongue height
- Tongue backness
- Lip-rounding
- Lax/Tense vowels
Tongue height: how much space is there between the tongue and roof of the mouth?
-high/close: relatively narrow space between tongue and roof of mouth
-low/open: relatively wide space between tongue and roof of mouth
-mid: tongue position roughly half way through between the high and low vowels
