  • Once he is found guilty of Tim Bosma’s murder, they take a closer look and find he is suspicious of two other deaths.
  • Millard purchased the incinerator 2 days after Babcock went missing
  • Smith wrote and recorded a song that seemed like it was about the murder of Babackock.
  • Wayne Millard is his dad, at first it was ruled as a suicide he died from a gunshot to the head after they found out it was Dellin Millard

Why did the SCC decide in the R v Bissonnette that consecutive sentences were cruel and unusual?

A
  • Not giving them the chance of parole before they die
  • These sentences are degrading in nature and thus incompatible with human dignity because they deny offenders any possibility of reintegration into society (no chance of rehabilitation)
