Week 4 Flashcards
Explain Hard start - jump to easy
Concept where you start with the hard question on the test. If you get stuck, move to the easy one, and after you’re finished, go back to the hard. This has an effect of moving between focused and diffuse mode. You’re in focused mode when working on the easy task, while the hard question is lingering in the back of your brain allowing the diffuse mode to jump in.
Taking a test makes your body puts out chemicals. What can you do to circumvent potentially negative effects of those chemicals?

How should you breathe to help you relax and concentrate when you panic on a test?
You should do stomach breathing.
