What can be the result of corrupt settings in NVRAM?
Corrupt settings in NVRAM can lead to irregularities or boot issues and may be fixed with a reset

Reset PRAM. At boot, hold Command + option + P + R
How do we troubleshoot problems in UEFI/BIOS firmware?
Done in setup program
