Oral dose of acetaminophen?
325 to 650 mg every 4 to 6 hours
Not exceed 4,000 mg daily, most clinicians will not exceed 3,000 mg daily
Dosage of Dexamethasone? Half life?
- 0.1 mg - 0.5 mg, IV, IM, IA, or topical –> No more than 20 mg
- Half life –> 3.5-5 hours
0.75 mg PO = 20 mg of cortisol
Ketolorac dosage in Adults and Peds?
Adult 15-30mg IV q6h (15 mg is usually just as effective as 30 mg per Dr. C)
