kiled vaccine. pt can’t get sick from it but does anyway.

What is a toxoid vaccine
Tetanus (its an injectible bacterial toxine vaccine)
Active immunity is?
pt is injected and body forms its own auto immunity.
Passive immunity``
body is not making antibodies and so its injected with ‘venom that has its own antibodies; also when a baby is born-antibodies pass from mom to child.

what does a titer do?
checks to see how much of something specific like hep b vaccine u have in your system and will it block hep b….etc…it sees if your immune

Red and WHite blood cells mainly Red blood cells. think hematological.
issues with red blood cells you will present with?
Anemia
Issue with white blood cells?
Infections….neutropenia
