A

Disease spread directly from host to host, e.g. through coughing, sneezing etc.

What is indirect horizontal transmission?

A

Spread through vectors, either living or non-living. Living vectors can be mechanical, such as fleas, mozzies, or biological, which means the agent undergoes part of its lifecycle with the vector. Non-living vectors are fomites
