A
- Have a single correct answer or limited ranges of responses.
- “right there” questions.
- Useful to assess students comprehension of key topics and processes.

What is a personal Preference Question?
A
A question that asks a student to express a personal point of preference.
- there is no wrong answer.

What is a critical inquiry question?
A
A question that promotes decision making and problem solving.
- They are often open ended questions with a limited number of reasonable answers.

- Challenge learners to make an assessment among plausible options
- Spark more questions, encourage inquiry
- Encourage more than one correct answer.
