Q

How do headlands and bays form?

A

. If there are alternating bands of hard and soft rock perpendicular to the coast, the soft rock will erode faster
forming headlands and bays. Overtime, a crack in a headland can be eroded to form a cave, which
when eroded further becomes an arch, then stack and then stump
