Hamamelis (witch hazel)
Nerve pain, prophylaxis of tetanus, injury to the coccyx, pain radiating up and away from the coccyx, swelling of the retina. phantom limb pain. Affinity for nerve rich areas.
hypericum perfoliatum
Lack of vital heat and warmth aggravates.
tissue is cold, blue/purple/mottled, better with cold. Inversion sprain
ledum palustre
hemorrhage with injuries, rupture of blood vessels, better after nose bleeds
millefolium
swelling, edema, redness, better with cold, stinging
apis mellifica
severe burning pains with threatening infection, gangrene, and/or blackened necrotic tissue. anxious, restless, fear of being alone. Worse 12-3 am.
arsenicum album
affinity for the skin and tongue, given where there has been a laceration where the soft tissue has been torn
calendula
anaphylactic reaction to bee stings
carbolic acid
wounds from foreign bodies, splinters. wounds healing slowly (silica too)
hepar sulph
puncture wounds to finger tips, genital, tongue.
sharp neuralgic pain radiating away from the injury
hypericum perfoliatum
coldness of the injured part, better cold application. Convulsions– injured part becomes cold as ice and spasm begins in wound*
ledum palustre
wound suppuration, would tend to heal slowly
Silcea (silica?), also similar to hepar sulph
Extremely sensitive of scars (cicatrices)–only rubric
staphysagria
