Illiotibial band. Attach and Func
- Attaches at the anterolateral tubercle of the tibia and to the femur via the lateral intermuscular septum
- The common insertion of gluteus maximus and tensor fasciae latae\
- Acts to stabilise the lateral aspect of the extended knee
