Reproduction. Train them to stand on their own rather than be dependent on you.

Where should you focus your time and effort?
On giving responsibility to the “reliable ones”
Why should you focus on “reliable” ones?
This is what Christ did. he allowed them to become spiritual parents.
How should you treat the “reliable” ones?
Guide them rather than doing things for them.
According to 2 Timothy 2:15 why should you be a good student?
So you can be a good teacher.
According to Ephesians 4:11-16 what 2 things are leaders supposed to do?
Learn from those God has gifted
Equip and release every member to minister
When will the church grow?
When you become a giver
What happens when you say that you “can’t” without even trying to do in the Holy Spirit?
You sin
Why’s it important to be a good manager?
So you don’t waste God’s resources
What’s our job? What happens if we don’t do it?
It’s our job to keep people on the mission. If we don’t keep them missional, they’ll consume, fight, and complain.
How is the church like family?
We don’t choose them but we commit to them for life

Keep people missional

Through mission
How do we experience intimacy with Jesus?
Through mission.
What does true discipleship include?
Evangelism
Teaching more than hell
Teaching Kingdom living
How motivate yourself and others?
By love and urgency
Why’s the mission unify us?
bc we’re created to be on mission
Why should we emphasize personal outreach?
bc it draws us closer to Christ
What should happen when we study Scripture?
We should be constantly changing as we study the scriptures. We should set a visible example of increasing holiness and power on a weekly basis.
Why should the Holy Spirit empower our lives?
So others know we’re Christian
What does sanctification look like?
Being led by the Holy Spirit to be the first to confess and repent.

Makes us more like Christ

What 2 things does the Fruit of the Spirit do in our lives?
Exemplify power and fearlessness
What is submission a sign of?
A spirit-filled person
Why were we given the Holy Spirit?
The Spirit was given for evangelism so Satan doesn’t make you feel inadequate
Although we’re given everything we need what are we responsible for doing with it?
We must make the effort to embrace it
