What are unobtrusive methods:
-Methods of studying social behaviour without affecting it
-Examine evidence of people’s behaviours or attitudes, rather than interacting directly
-Data exists and was created for purposes other than for data collection
What is content analysis:
-Systematic study and interpretation of cultural products or artifacts
-A central product of culture are artifacts
-Cultural artifacts or products are concrete objects that represent or express the abstract culture in which they were produced

Quantitative content analysis focuses on:
-Presence or absence as an indicator of a social phenomena
