What are glial cells?
A
- surround neurones to hold in place
- supply nutrients and oxygen
- insulate neurons from each other
- destroy pathogens
- remove dead neurons

How does CSF circulate?
A
- CerebroSpinal Fluid
- produced in choroid plexi
- by Na+ and Cl-
- sets up osmotic gradient
- protects from concussion and washes the brain
- superior sagittal sinus to the brain

What is the anatomy of the glymphatic system?
A
- small artieries dive and penetrate into the parenchyma
- connective flow to the veins where waste products are left
- resistance of this flow drops during sleep
- because astrocytes extensions become thinner
