A
  • CerebroSpinal Fluid
  • produced in choroid plexi
  • by Na+ and Cl-
  • sets up osmotic gradient
  • protects from concussion and washes the brain
  • superior sagittal sinus to the brain

What is the anatomy of the glymphatic system?

A
  • small artieries dive and penetrate into the parenchyma
  • connective flow to the veins where waste products are left
  • resistance of this flow drops during sleep
  • because astrocytes extensions become thinner
