Pertinent
To the point
Ex: Being pertinent when you need guidance from Blehm
Mastiff
A particular breed of large dog
Ex: The mastiff from the Sandlot
Obsess
To be haunted by, or preoccupied with thoughts
Ex: My obsession with evolving myself.
Doleful
Sad, melancholy
Ex: The doleful expressions after a bad assignment
Wan
Sickly, pale
Ex: The woman’s wan expression with the news.
Histrionics
Display of emotions, temper tantrums
Ex: Leilany’s histrionics at the park
Elusive
Hard to grasp
Ex: My figurative elusiveness at the beginning of Blehm’s class
Frustrate
Counteract, foil, to thwart
Ex: I frustrated my sister’s attempt of using my phone at night
Symptomatic
Having to do with signs or symptoms, indicative
Ex:I’m always symptomatic of being cold
Interject
Insert, to interrupt
Ex: I interjected my own habits
Inert
Without power to move
Ex: I was inert once the ball was thrown my way
Salient
Outstanding, prominent
Ex: The salient smell of fresh cleaning once my parents came home
Imminent
Likely to happen, threatening
Ex: My imminent success, it will happen.
Squeamish
Easily shocked, over sensitive
Ex: My squeamish sister when I watch something on the TV
Engrossed
Absorbed, fully focused
Ex: When I am absorbed in my studies
Eminent
Of high reputation
Ex: The eminent women’s forum ladies
