Cephalometric
Condition that occurs when teeth are not properly aligned with its opposing tooth. A maxillary tooth is inward or touched end to end with another.
Cross-bite
Condition that occurs when teeth are not properly aligned within the arch. One or many teeth can be involved in misplacement.
Crowding
Structures that include the teeth, jaws, and surrounding facial bones.
Dentofacial
A class II malocclusion in which the Mesial buccal cusp of the maxillary first molar occludes mesial to the mesiobuccal groove of the mandibular first molar.
Distoclusion
A class III malocclusion, the body of the mandible is in an abnormal distal relationship to the maxilla.
Mesioclusion
A lack of vertical overlap of the maxillary incisors, creating an opening of the anterior teeth when posterior teeth are closed.
Open bite
Specialty of dentistry designed to prevent, intercept, and correct skeletal and dental problems
Orthodontics
Increased vertical overlap of the maxillary incisors.
Overbite
Excessive protrusion of the maxillary incisors.
