the info required to convert the vehicular traffic flow data into PCUs

what is considered a HGV
a vehicle with more than 4 wheels including buses and vehicle towing trailers
what is AADT and what does it stand for?
Annual average daily traffic, it is the total volume of vehicle traffic on the road for a year divided by 365 days
what is AAWT and what does it stand for?
similar to AADT but only includes monday to friday data, excluding bank holiday
what is the 85th percentile speed
the speed at or below which 85th of people drive at any location
what happens if the 85th percentile wet weather speeds is required
standard corrections can be applied to give a wet weather equivalent speed if the speed survey was undertaken in dry conditions
what is TRICS data
a database of traffic survey recording arrival and departure throughout the day by all modes of transport
