What is the purpose of a patinet interview?
A
- bulid rapport

What should be included on a body chart?
A
- Where the pain is and it’s distribution (shade for representation)
- pain type anaesthesia or paraesthesis or pain)
- quality of pain (sharpe, dull, ache, buring)
- intensity (VAS)
- constant vs intermittent
- deapth
- relationship between symptoms
- other symptoms (joint sounds)
- VBI signs
- cauda equina signs
- cord signs

A
- when and how the current injury/episode first started?
- what symptoms started first?… then what happened?
- current treatment and the effects?
- current status… better, same or worse?

What should be included in past history?
A
- previous episodes of similar injury? Explain
- previous treatment?
- previous interventions or meds?
- other relevant injuries, surgery ect

What should be included in behaviour of symptoms?
A
-Is it mechanical? Yes- what pattern? No- need to ask more questions
Components:
- aggs/ eases

- status (same, better or worse)
- irritability (low, moderate or high)
