Epistemology
narrow - the study of knowledge and justified true belief
broad - the dissemination of knowledge in various domains (social epistemology)
Rationalism
puts a premium on a priori reasoning i.e justification is a largely internal process
Empiricism
puts a premium on a posteriori reasoning (external process) i.e justification is largely an external process
