axial skeleton
bones and cartilages protecting the soft structures of the head, neck, and trunk
Ex. Skull and Spine
Appendicular skeleton
bones of the limbs including the limb girdles
Ex. Scapula on distal, and pelvis on distal
visceral skeleton
bones that embedded into soft tissues
Ex. os penis( K9, raccoon, beaver, walrus)
