Four Values:
Freedom - related to autonomy. Ability to make choices.
Equality - Related to beneficence. Defined the sharing and disbursement of rewards and responsibilities in society
Rewards - is healthcare a basic right to all citizen.
Treatment of the poor- addresses the issue of powerless and the poor.

Biomedical Model
The dominant model of thinking about disability in US.
The doctor decides who is disable and who received the benefits.
Explains the patient’s experience thorough basic science and cellular pathology.
Has limits. Medical practice limits effectiveness on disability.
Social Disability Model
Disability becomes problem when people consumer more then they produce.
Social and economic discrimination by majority of population though isolation and exclusion.
