What is the internal responsibility system?
the system of shared responsibility for H&S that is the basis for most Canadian OH&S legislations.
Who are the key stakeholders of OH&S and what are their responsibilities?
employees:perform duties in a safe manner, wear protective equipment or report defective equipment
employers: prepare and post policy and provide and maintain equipment, provide training
government: pass laws like workers compensation act and occupational health and safety act or Canadian labour (safety) code
HR professionals:focus on people side of H&S management
organized labour:bring emerging problems to attention of government and ERs
