A
- A person is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ.
- There are no good deeds that we can do to earn justification
- The purpose of Jesus in this doctrine is to help us understand that He alone is the justification for our sins through Faith

- Soteriology is the “Doctrine of Salvation”
- Salvation embodies the total work of God in which He rescues man from sin and gifts him with His eternal grace and mercy, which establishes eternal life
- Without Jesus, there would be no Salvation.

- Christology is the study of Christ; it embraces the identity of Christ
- It helps us understand the pre-existence, humanity, and eternality of Christ.
- The purpose of Jesus in it is to give knowledge of who He is, in the human and divine perspectives, and to help us get an in depth understanding of His nature
