Data Destruction: The process of permanently eliminating data to prevent recovery.
Purging: The systematic removal of data that is no longer needed or required.

Categorization is based on the impact if that asset was to
be compromised

Whats the difference between classficiation and categorization?
Classification by itself is simply a system of classes set up by an
organization to differentiate asset values and, therefore, protection levels
