What is the variety of scenery in the world?
Different scenery in the world has a wide variety, including mountainous places, flat places, spectacular places and simply interesting places.
What is landscap?
Geographers call the scenery of a place the landscape.
How are the surfaces of the the earth and the landscapes different.
The surface of the earth and the landscapes we see differ from place to place and they are changing all the time.
What are the weathering features?
Rain, sun, wind, and frost constantly break down rocks(weathering).
What can weathering lead to?
Weathering can lead to great mountain ranges getting worn down, valleys getting made wider and deeper, and coastlines getting changed.
What is the breaking of the earth’s surface due to?
The breaking of the earth’s surface is due to weathering and erosion.
When does weathering take place?
Weathering takes place when rocks are attacked by the weather.
What is erosion?
Erosion is the wearing away of the land.
What is the difference between weathering and erosion?
Weathering breaks rocks and weakens the Earth’s surface up into smaller pieces, while erosion wears away, transports, and removes the broken and loosened material.
