Weather Patterns Flashcards
Convection current
The direction in which cold water air and warm water air move
Sea breeze
A breeze that happens in the day because warm air over the land goes up and the cold air from the sea takes its place creating a breeze
Land breeze
It occurs at night when the land is cold and the water is hot so the air above it rises and the air above it takes that place and creates a breeze
