The average temperature, rainfall, ect over a long period of time.
What is High Pressure?
Air that is more dense.
What is Low Pressure?
Air that is less dense.
What is the Coriolis Effect?
Rotation of earth that makes wind curve.
What is circulation?
Water and air moving in a circular pattern around the earth.
What is Salinity?
Amount of salt in water.
What are Climate Zones?
Areas with distinct climates.
What is Precipitation?
Water falls to earth as rain, snow, sleet or hail.
What is Altitude
Height above sea level.
What is Latitude?
Horizontal lines from the equator going north or south.
What is Wind?
Movement of air.
What is Rain Shadow?
A dry region on the leeward side of a mountain.
