1) Get a rain gauge
2) Fix it 15cm deep 30cm above the ground.
3) Leave for 24 hours
4) After 24 hours take the rain gauge and place the water in a measuring cylinder
5) Put the cylinder back in the gauge ready for the next day
Explain why the above instrument in figure 8 is placed on a tall mast or on top of a building
Its placed on a tall mast so it could obtain/record free flowing wind and to avoid tampering.
State advantages and disadvantages of a digital weather station thermometer

Explain how you can use a six’s thhermometer to obtain atmospheric data
1)Place in a stevensen screen
2)Leave it in for 24 hrs
3)measure the alcohol indice as maximum
4)After 24 hours open the door of the stevensen screen, record the maximum and minimum temperature whilst still in the stevensen screen
