Q

How does increasing wavelength, frequency and speed of a wave affect fringe separation?

A

According to w = (λ D) / s, increasing λ will increase fringe separation.

According to λ = v / f, increasing v causes λ to increase. Effectively, increasing velocity causes fringe separation to increase.

Furthermore, increasing f causes λ to decrease. Effectively, increasing f causes fringe separation to decrease.
