What are the six steps of the water treatment
A
Intake, addition to of chemicals, congelation and flocculation, sedimation

Addition to chemicals
A
The addition of alum in the water

What is sedimentation?
A
The water and
floc enter a settling tank. The water flows slowly to the bottom of the tank

What is filtration?
A
This step removes any remaining waste solids and small pieces of floc that did not settle in the before. The water is now clear

What is disinfection?
A
The water may still contain micro- organisms such as bacteria so chlorine or ozone can be added to the water to kill them

What is storage
A
The treated water can then be stored in sealed containers ready for use!

A
