How does a PRV works?
A
PRESSURE REDUCING VALVE
Excess pressure pushes the diaphragm up, forcing the washer up against its seat and closing the valve. The spring on top of the diaphragm adjusts the pressure, keeping the valve open. Pressure is adjusted by turning the nut on top of the valve.
