When the tree’s and plant’s breathe out water vapour through tiny holes in their leaves
Evaporation
When the sun heats up the water vapour, turning it into gas vapour
Clouds blown inland
When the water droplets in the cloud get larger and larger

Leaves and branches catch some of the water before it reaches the ground
Lake, snow cap, sea
These are all stores of water
Condensation
When the water vapour is turned into gas agin as it gets colder and colder

When the water flows through the ground under the soil and rocks
Infilteration
The water soaks into the soil
Throughflow
The water flows through the soil
Precipitation
The water droplets eventually fall as rain, snow, hail or sleet

When the water runs off the surface

The river is continued into the river and continues the cycle
