Q

How is a Levee formed?

A

It is formed when a river overflows and as it does this it brings up mud, soil and possibly some chunks of grass. However when the water then goes back in the river it doesn’t have enough energy to bring back the mud, soil and grass so it is stuck on the banks of rivers.
