Battery hot
FAULT CONDITION
Battery overheating
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Turn BATT switch off and land as soon as practical. If BATTERY RLY message illuminates, turn GEN switch Off if conditions permit. Land as soon as possible.
ENGINE OUT (RED Light)
FAULT CONDITION
Ng less than 55 +- 1% and/or FADEC senses ENGINE OUT
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Verify engine condition. Accomplish engine failure procedure.
ENGINE OVSPD (RED LIGHT)
FAULT CONDITION
Engine operating: Np is greater than 102.1% for 2.5 seconds or 107.3% immediately
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Adjust throttle and collective as necessary. Determine if engine is controllable; if not, shutdown. Maintenance action required before next flight.
FADEC FAIL DURING START (RED LIGHT)
FAULT CONDITION
FADEC has detected a serious malfunction
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Close throttle immediately. Engage starter to reduce MGT. Applicable maintenance action required prior to next flight
FADEC FAIL IN FLIGHT (RED LIGHT)
FAULT CONDITION
FADEC has detected a serious malfunction. Dependent on flight profile (takeoff, climb, cruise, or descent) and power setting at time of failure, the transition to manual mode may result in an Nr/Np overspeed or underspeed within 2 to 7 seconds following activation of FADEC FAIL message. Any other FADEC related message may be illuminated.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Accomplish FADEC FAILURE procedure. Applicable maintenance action required prior to next flight.
RPM WITH LOW RPM AUDIO (RED LIGHT)
FAULT CONDITION
Nr below 95%
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Reduce collective and ensure throttle is in fly detent position.
RPM (RED LIGHT)
WITHOUT AUDIO
INSTRUMENT PANAL
FAULT CONDITION
Nr above 107%
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Increase collective and/or reduce severity of maneuver. Light will extinguish when Nr decreases below 107%.
XMSN OIL PRESS (RED LIGHT)
FAULT CONDITION
Transmission oil pressure below minimum
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Reduce power; verify fault with display. LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
XMSN OIL TEMP (RED LIGHT)
FAULT CONDITION
Transmission oil temperature is at or above red line
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Reduce power; verify fault with display. Land as soon as practical
ALTN (AMBER LIGHT)
ON PSI

Primary source failed. Alternate in use. A small A shall be displayed next to affected parameter. (QA, MGT A, NG A, or NR A) NP primary source failure will only be indicated with ALTN on PSI and no small A.

BAGGAGE DOOR (AMBER LIGHT)
FAULT CONDITION
Baggage door is not securely latched.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Close door securely before flight. If light illuminates durning flight land as soon as practical.
BATTERY RLY (AMBER LIGHT)
FAULT CONDITION
Battery relay remains energized when batter switch is Off. Battery is still connected to DC BUSS
CORRECTIVE ACTION
If BATTERY HOT message is illuminated, turn GEN switch Off if conditions permit. Land as soon as possible
CYC CTR (AMBER LIGHT)

Cyclic is not centered.

Remain in AUTO mode. Fly helicopter smoothly and non-aggressively. Land as soon as practical

It may be necessary to use FUEL VALVE switch to shut down engine after landing.

FADEC DEGRADED (AMBER LIGHT)
WITH ENGINE SHUT DOWN
FAULT CONDITION
FADEC ECU has recorded a fault during previous flight or a current fault has been detected.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Position throttle to idle; if message extinguishes, fault is from previous flight. Applicable maintenance action required prior to next flight
FADEC FAULT (AMBER LIGHT)
FAULT CONDITION
PMA and/or MGT, Np, or Ng automatic limiting circuit(s) not functional and/or Np has exceeded a limit.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Remain in AUTO mode. Land as soon as practical. Applicable maintenance action required prior to next flight
FADEC MANUAL (AMBER LIGHT)
FAULT CONDITION
FADEC is operating in MAN mode. No automatic governing is available. AUTO RELIGHT message will be illuminated when FADEC MODE switch is depressed.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Fly helicopter smoothly and non-aggressively. Maintain Nr with coordinated throttle and collective movements. Land as soon as practical
FUEL FILTER (AMBER LIGHT)
FAULT CONDITION
Airframe fuel filter in impending bypass
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Land as soon as practical. Clean before next flight
FUEL LOW (AMBER LIGHT)
FAULT CONDITION
100+-10 pounds of fuel remain in aft tank.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Note:
Aft fuel tank quantity is the total fuel quantity less the forward fuel tank quantity.
Verify FUEL QTY of aft fuel tank land as soon as practical.
R/FUEL BOOST (AMBER LIGHT)
FAULT CONDITION
Right fuel boost pump has failed
CORRECTIVE ACTION
If practical, descend below 8000’ hp if fuel is Jet A or 4000’ if fuel is Jet B to prevent fuel starvation if other fuel boost pump fails or has low output pressure. Land as soon as practical.
WARNING If both fuel boost pumps fail, altitude must be reduced below 8000’ Hp (Jet A) or 4000’ (Jet B). Land as soon as practical.
L/FUEL BOOST (AMBER LIGHT)
FAULT CONDITION
left fuel boost pump has failed
CORRECTIVE ACTION
If practical, descend below 8000’ hp if fuel is Jet A or 4000’ if fuel is Jet B to prevent fuel starvation if other fuel boost pump fails or has low output pressure. Land as soon as practical.

FUEL VALVE (AMBER LIGHT)
FAULT CONDITION
Fuel valve is in transition or is not at it commanded position or Fuel Valve circuit breaker out.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Check Fuel Valve circuit breaker in. Land as soon as practical. If on ground, cycle Fuel Valve switch.
L/FUEL XFR (AMBER LIGHT)
FAULT CONDITION
Left fuel transfer pump has failed.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Land as soon as practical
CAUTION If both fuel transfer pumps fail, unusable fuel may be as high as 151.0 pounds due to inability to transfer fuel from forward cell. Land as soon as practical.
R/FUEL XFR (AMBER LIGHT)
FAULT CONDITION
Right fuel transfer pump has failed.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Land as soon as practical
CAUTION If both fuel transfer pumps fail, unusable fuel may be as high as 151.0 pounds due to inability to transfer fuel from forward cell. Land as soon as practical.
GEN FAIL (AMBER LIGHT)
FAULT CONDITION
Generator not connected to DC BUSS
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Verify fault with Amps display. GEN switch - reset, then On. If GEN FAIL message remains illuminated, GEN switch - Off. Land as soon as practical
HEATER OVERTEMP (AMBER LIGHT)

An over-Temperature condition has been detected by a temperature probe either under pilot seat, or in vertical tunnel.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Turn Heater switch - Off immediately

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Verify HYD SYS switch position. Accomplish hydraulic system failure procedure

Litter door not securely latched.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Close door securely before flight. If message illuminates during flight, land as soon as practical

FAULT CONDITION
System has detected a failure in the pedal stop system.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
VNE - 60 KIAS. Pedal stop emergency release - pull land as soon as practical.

Pitch trim out of detent.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
AP performance may be affected. Reposition cyclic to extinguish message, if desired.

ENGINE ANTI-ICE (WHITE LIGHT)
FAULT CONDITION
ANTI-ICE switch - On. Engine receiving anti-ice air.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
If message remains illuminated with ENGINE ANTI-ICE switch off, avoid operations requiring max power.
FADEC MAINT (WHITE LIGHT)
FAULT CONDITION
FADEC lamp test failure during power-up self test and in flight.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Maintenance action required prior to flight.
INSTR FAN (WHITE LIGHT)
FAULT CONDITION
Failure of instrument fan.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Maintenance action required.
NG OAT LIMIT (WHITE LIGHT)
FAULT CONDITION
Engine Ng limited due to OAT
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Power/Altitude - Reduce. Pulling more power will cause rotor to droop.
RESTART FAULT (WHITE LIGHT)
FAULT CONDITION
FADEC ECU has detected a fault, which will not allow engine to be restarted in Auto Mode.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Remain in Auto Mode. Plan landing site accordingly. Applicable maintenance action required prior to next flight.
Note:
When throttle is repositioned to idle stop (during engine shutdown) the PMA will go offline and engine may flameout.
START (WHITE LIGHT)
FAULT CONDITION
Start relay is in Start mode.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
If start switch has not been engaged and there is zero indication on Amps display; Start relay has malfunctioned and helicopter is on battery power. Start circuit breaker - Out. Land as soon as practical.
