A default item stockroom location is created using the default warehouse and default location specified by Inventory Parameters.

itemwhse. Used to add an item to warehouses in addition to the default warehouse defined on the Inventory Parameters form. Every item has a default itemwhse record created using the defaults in Inventory Parameters.

The quantity of the given item available in the given warehouse. Combination of all qty in all item stockroom locations within the warehouse.

This is the main logical warehouse used by PPI. All materials used for productions are maintained here. Most of the actual transformers produced are also stored in this warehouse as they are produced all the way up to the point when they are shipped.

Used by customer serviuce to remove transformers from shipping and inventory considerations so that, in the event of sudden increased demand, we have a reserve of inventory to pull from for emergency purposes.

Corresponds to Controlled By External Warehouse in the Warehouses form on infor. We do not have this checked for any warehouses. External applications can be integrated with CloudSuite. This would change a lot about how infor and cloud suite work.

Dedicated Warehouses

Warehouses with dedicated inventory are useful for serving demands tied to that warehouse. For example we use SFY as a dedicated inventory warehouse. When running the MRP, APS or MPS Processor, the system ignores the inventory in dedicated-inventory warehouses as well as all demands and supplies that specify a dedicated-inventory warehouse.
