Absolute Location
its exact place on Earth, often given in terms of latitude and longitude.
Relative Location
a description of how a place is related to other places.
Culture
the arts and other manifestations of human intellectual achievement regarded collectively.
Great Plains
a flat, generally dry, and grassy region that makes up about one-third of the territory of the United States.
Globe
a three-dimensional scale model of the Earth or other round body.
Continental DIvide
a naturally occurring boundary or ridge separating a continent’s river systems.
Permafrost
a thick subsurface layer of soil that remains frozen throughout the year, occurring chiefly in polar regions.
