Inguinal (Attachment & Function)
Attaches to: Anterior Superior Iliac Spine to Pubic Tubercle
Function: Contains soft tissue and is the superior border to femoral triangle
Sacrospinous (Attachment & Function)
Attaches to: Ischial Spine to Sacrum
Function: Prevents posterior rotation of the ilium
Sacrotuberous (Attachment & Function)
Attaches to: Sacrum to Ischial tuberosity
Function: Stabilizes the pelvic girdle and limits upward titling of the sacrum and rotation of the pelvis
Posterior Sacroiliac (Attachment & Function)
Attaches to: Ilium and Sacrum (in a depression posterior to them)
Function: Stabilise the sacroiliac joint and limit anterior rotation and displacement of the pelvic girdle
Anterior Sacroiliac (Attachment & Function)
Attaches to: Sacrum (Anterolaterally) to Ilium (Auricular surface) and pre auricular sulcus
Function: stabilises the sacroiliac joint
