Titration

A
  • Measure one solution into a conical flask using a pipette
  • The other solution is added from the burette until a permanent colour change of an indicator is seen in the conical flask
  • A ‘ rough’ titration is carried out first followed by more accurate titrations until concordant titre values are achieved
  • Average value of concordant titres is used in calculations
