A group of people who are sworn into court to give a verdict in a legal case on the basis of evidence submitted to them

A person who brings a case against someone in a civil court of law

Court Hierarchy
The system of power which the legal courts are set at
Jurisdiction
The official power to make legal decisions and judgements
Solicitor
A representative or defendant of a client, who can also give advice to them.
Barrister
A lawyer who has been called to the bar and is qualified to plead in higher courts
