A
A neutral clear liquor, derived from the Russian word for water.

What can Vodka be made from?
A
Vodka can be distilled from a number of different bases: potatoes, rye, wheat, grapes, molasses, etc. If it will ferment it can potentially become vodka.

How is Vodka made?
A
Vodka is made through the process of distillation. Alcohol boils at a lower temp than water. Modern spirits typically distilled via potstill or continuous still (also called Coffey, Column or Patent Still).
