Barometer
A tool used to measure air pressure
Barometric pressure
The pressure of the atmosphere against the surface
Cirrus cloud
Thin wispy looking clouds commonly found at heights greater than 6km
Climate
The current or past long-term weather conditions characteristics of a region or the entire earth
Cloud
A collection of water droplets ore ice crystals in the atmosphere
Drought
A prolonged shortage of rainfall
Dew point
The temperature at which water vapor in the air condenses into water
Cumulonimbus cloud
Anvil shaped cloud that is often involved in heavy or violent storms
Cumulus cloud
Large, fluffy, white clouds, often seen in fair skies
Forecast
To analyze weather data and to make and educated guess about weather in the future
Front
The boundary between two masses of air with different properties
Funnel cloud
A rotating Funnel shaped cloud
Hail
Small, icy balls that fall from the sky
Humidity
A storm with high strong winds and rain

The study of patterns in weather
Thunder
A loud noise that happens when lightening heats the air
Thunderstorm
A weather system that produces heavy precipitation
Tornado
A column of air that rotates
Tropical depression
a region of low pressure with counter-clockwise wind rotation that develops into a hurricane or tropical storm
Typhoon
a hurricane or tropical storm originating in the Pacific Ocean
Weather
The properties of the atmospheres at a given time and location

The force that air puts on an area
