low-fat

I’ve got a splitting (= severe) headache.
I tried taking tablets for the headache but they didn’t have any effect.
It’s an extremely effective cure for a headache.
I had a terrible headache, but even so I went to the concert.
appetite
a desire or need for something, esp. food:
a good/healthy appetite
an appetite for adventure
heart
the organ in your chest that sends the blood around your body:
He’s got a weak/bad heart (= his heart is not healthy).
Isabel’s heart was beating fast with fright.
unfamiliar
not known to you:
I noticed several unfamiliar faces in the meeting room.
His name was unfamiliar to me.
stressed
worried and nervous:
The kids are sick, I just lost my baby-sitter, and our toilet doesn’t work – no wonder I feel stressed-out!
lung
either of the two organs in the chest with which people and some animals breathe:
lung cancer
There’s a high correlation between smoking and lung cancer.
The knife went through his ribs and punctured his lung.
Scientists have established the relationship between lung cancer and smoking.
skin
the natural outer layer that covers a person, animal, fruit, etc.:
dark/fair/pale/tanned skin

amount
a collection or mass, especially of something that cannot be counted:
They didn’t deliver the right amount of sand.
Small amounts of land were used for keeping animals.

containing a mixture of ideas, people, etc. with each one being represented equally or fairly:
The team is very well balanced.

affect

The divorce affected every aspect of her life.
It’s a disease that affects mainly older people.
